Current issue out now!

Rattling Ramblings from the Editor

This issue sees us bringing you the biggest issue yet, coming in at 38 pages. Our growth would not be possible without the support of Australian business’s and subscribers. We encourage all to continue to spread the word letting business owners know that our reviews are free and consumers know that our magazine is free.

Last week I was asked what the goal of our magazine was. Our primary goal is to offer a place that is reachable and affordable to all business’s regardless of size. A place for all to spread the word on their product or service. It is with this goal in mind that we offer our reviews free to all and will continue to offer affordable advertising, starting at as little as $20 per issue. We do not make money on our magazine. We work solely on a volunteer basis as we believe in helping fellow man and in the right for all to be given a go. Our reward is that of making a difference to others.

We also believe that all consumers have the right to be informed. It is this reason that we offer our magazine for free, allowing all, regardless of demographics or income, the chance to grab a copy of our magazine.  Our dream is to see a copy of Rattling Reviews in every second household in Australia and in waiting rooms and business’s Australia wide. With the help of our readers this dream is possible. Please pass this copy on to a friend and ask them to hand it to another. Ask them to subscribe for their own copy and their friends to do likewise. Lets start a wave of consumer support and unity.

Our biggest goal is to unite business’s with the consumer and the consumer with the product within a positive, non biased and non judgmental environment. At Double Creations Publications we believe in a world where positivity is the norm and negativity is long forgotten. We believe in equality and acceptance of all. We believe in fairness to fellow man. It is through Rattling Reviews and her sister magazine Good Gabble that we hope to encourage others to follow our beliefs. If our publications can place a smile on the face of another, relieving a little stress and making a difference then we have achieved.

Good Gabble is also provided free, celebrating all things positive. Please take a moment to check this magazine out at http://goodgabble.blogspot.com and subscribe for your free copy.

So what is in this issue?

This issue we start our new regular feature ‘In the spotlight’, introducing a business owner and their business. Do you own a business and would like to be showcased? email us at doublecreations@gmail.com

On page 10 we road test five:am organic yoghurt. With a variety of flavours and tub sizes that suit all the family, our testers had a sensory overload as they tasted and smelt their way through tub after tub.

After  reading our five:am review you may like to turn back a page and find out what our regular reviewer Kelly Azuma has tasted this issue in her feature Tasty Japan. Skip forward two  pages to page 12 and you will find our double page spread of news on what Australia Post is up to.

Why buy Australian owned? On page 16 Dick Smith shares a little bit of his knowledge and research informing us on this exact topic.

This issue sees the largest product recall section we have ever had, coming in at 4 pages. We see product recalls as important to the safety and well being of you, the consumer, and endeavour to keep you up to date and informed. Should you have difficulties with a product or know of a recall please let us know.

Rattling Reviews is a magazine for the consumer. We want to hear from you. Tell us what you enjoy about our magazine, would like to see in future issue, do not like, any business’s you would like to recommend and your consumer stories. Without your feedback we cannot grow, becoming bigger and better.

Enjoy!

Jennifer Deaves
